APPETITE DURING HEAT CYCLE

Question
I HAVE AN 11 MONTH OLD FEMALE BULLMASTIFF THAT HAS JUST STARTED HER HEAT CYCLE (BLEEDING). DO DOGS APPETITES CHANGE DURING THIS TIME? WHAT ELSE CAN CHANGE?

Answer
It is not generally normal for a dogs appetite to change during her heat cycle. Some things you might notice are her vulva will be swollen. She will be paying more attention and licking herself there. Of course there will be light blood. She will probably act more jittery or anxious. Well, I hope I helped. Have a good day.
