Question
Hi, Ellen
I have a westie for about 1.5 years. In the last 6 to 8 months, first he had a growth on his nose.
We went to the vet and had it removed. It was not malignant. The vet said this happens to some dogs more than others. Then 3 months later he got one on his lower jaw. Same thing had it removed not malignant. Now 3 months later again another one on his lower jaw and also white looking growths on his tongue. Like I said the vet said he is more prone to this. Is there something lacking
nutrition wise, vitamins etc. Any info would be greatly appreciated so we don't have to keep putting him through all these removals. Thanks,
Russ

Answer
many dogs get thesse ugly warty skin growths that are usually benign, but are annoying since they come and go or run rampent on your pet.

You can try some skin supplements but it may not do anything.

if they start to interfere with looks and being able to eat properly, then have them removed :)
