neutered male dog is dripping blood from penis.

I have this 7 year old toy poodle who is neutered. After he pees, he drips blood from his penis. His appetite and activities are normal and sleeps often. why does is he bleeding ? i am very concerned and worried for he is my best friend. So i am kindly asking you to please inform me on what is wrong with my buddy.

Irritations of the bladder, urethra and prostate can lead to bleeding.  These can be a result of infection, cancer, and stones.  With the age of your dog I would tend to say the prostate is the most likely source of the bleeding and would suggest having your veterinarian examine him.
