Questionmy 7 year old male staffordshire bull terrier has recently been pooing in large amounts overnight in the house. he has previously been fully trained. he has dried complete food. he also seems to be off his food. please help as i cant face coming down to the mess another day!!
AnswerWhen a dog starts to experience incontinence and is off his food, he needs to be seen by the vet. Not knowing if he is neutered or not, he could be having some issues with his prostate, or his digestion or any number of things. He might even be having a cognitive issue- his mental capacities are being compromised by something.
So this is the time for a check-up by your vet.
