how do I train a outdoor cat to be a indoor cat?

Answer
You can booby trap the doorways with sticky tape or plastic mats turned upside down so the pointy part sticks up.  You can also use water bottle and squirt him when he goes to the door.

Make sure to have several litter boxes in the house, and I would highly recommend purchasing Feliway/Comfort Zone to east the transition.

Make sure he has a window perch so he can still look outside...try putting a bird feeder outside the window too.
