My Ridgeback is sick...Help

QUESTION: Hi Marie, My 12 year old Ridgeback is sick on a weekly basis.  We have reduced her intake of food, changed from dog biscuits to rice(recommended for old dogs), had an Xray, scan and blood tests.  The Vet prescribed tablets for sickness and upset tummy however she is still sick very 7 days.  The vet's only other option was to put her under general anesthetic to do an endoscopy(excuse the spelling).  Have you ever heard of anything like this? She is too old for anesthetic!

Hi Jacqueline - I wonder if you could try some Tagament 200 mg (1) in the am?

Brand Name: Tagamet
Generic Name: Cimetidine
Can you find this in the UK?

I would give her 1 in the am - about 30 minutes before a meal.
Also, she should be eating two meals per day.

Can you get a holistic food like Innova EVO or Wellness CORE?
Low grain or no grain...Mostly meat?
