My Dog/liver disease

Question
My carin terrier has elevated liver enzymes in the 1000.  She was tested for Cushings and does not have it.  The vet wants to retest her liver functions in a month.  I was told from a friend to start her on milk thistle.  She weighs 22 lbs. How much should I give her and is there anything else I can  give her or do to help her liver function?
She weighs 22 lb.  I have read about SAMe, Vitamin E, B complex and Ester C.  I just don't know the dosage for her size.  Thank you for your help.

Answer
Hi Leslie- Yes, I can help .  Glad you did see the vet and you know what is going on with your little one.

Please start the Milk Thistle - Make sure it is a very good brand like " Natures Sunshine" - a quality company:
I would give her 1 (250) mg of Milk Thistle per day - You can hide it in some cheese or open it up and mix into some food.

Also, Please get this kid started on NuVET Plus ASAP - This is an immune system booster that is a Must for her... She needs all the herbs and vitamins in the NuVET to gain her health back.
Please call Joan now - she is at the office 8-4 Calif time zone.

Joan can get the NuVET Plus wafers out today - It will take about 2-3 business days to reach you.  NOT sold in stores, only thru breeders, kennels and vets... Use breeder code 81098 for ordering.

Your baby will need 1 NuVET per day - it is a good tasting wafer treat.  If you want you can break it up and place into the food.
NuVET has some liver herbs in each wafer..
It will cost you about .50 cents per day for the NuVET Plan.
Here is the web site for reading the testimonials...
Make sure you call in the first order - too many people make mistakes on the web ordering..OK, so call the 1-800 #

Next - What is she eating for food?  Are you on the food for liver problems?  What brand are you feeding?

I will have more suggestions for you.  Just get started on the Milk Thistle and the NuVET first...
I will follow your progress free of charge thru e-mail correspondence.

Thanks and talk to you soon!
