Hello.  It's Dani Randell again.  Now it's my other dog.  His paw pad is just kind of hanging there. It looks like he maybe cut it on something sharp or something.  But, he hasn't done anything at all for the last week.  He looks like he hasn't been feeling good.  This morning he was walking all funny.  Anyways, What do you think I should do?

If he is not acting normally, then you should take him to the vet for an examination.  You can put neosporin on the pad and wrap his foot up.  If the laceration is not deep, then often times we will just get the piece of skin off.  However if the laceration is deep, we would suture it back together.  I am sure he is in some discomfort as pad injuries are painful and very sensitive.
