Cat with neurological problems

Question
Hello, my cat was diagnosed yesterday with neurological problems.  He was fine until he had his teeth cleaned and one tooth removed on Monday.  He is an indoor, neutered cat that is approx 8-10 years old.  I want to get info on how best to help him.  The vet said strokes don't happen in dogs and cats.  They took bloodwork per my request on Saturday to insure he was a good candidate for anesethia.  Bloodwork came back fine and they did the procedure on Monday.  He came home that night.  He hadn't eaten or drank anything by Wednesday night so I took him back to the vets.  The are doing complete bloodwork and put fluids under his skin.  I hand fed him turkey baby food yesterday and its staying down.  I'm looking for any info to help him get better.  Any advice is appreciated.  Thank you.

What exactly is going on with your cat?  Does he have head tilt? Unfortunately, I cannot diagnose what is bothering your kitty because I have not given him a physical exam, but if you can give me the symptoms, perhaps I can give you some insight on what is going on.
