Puppy vomitting and stool

Question
I have a 11 week old shepherd that vomits once in a while. She has not lost weight or does not have a distended stomach. She is teething and gets into everything. She has had two sets of shots and kennel cough vaccination. She is a very happy puppy and is extremely active. Since I have had her she has vomited only three times. I got her at 4 weeks old. She is also having bowl movements often and they are firm. I was wondering if she has just eaten something that does not sit well or could this be a excitement issue.

Answer
Puppies do have a tendency to eat things they should not or get overexcited.  The number of occasions over that time span would not worry me and I would attribute it to normal puppyhood, but if she has not been dewormed I would recommend having a sample checked by your veterinarian as it is possible she has worms but not to the level of stomach distension or diarrhea.

Best of luck to you and your canine companion.
