Nursing Mother with Diarreah

I have a female cat that has kitten which were 3 weeks old on Monday.  The mom cat is having a horrible time with her bowels.  They are pure liquid.  Is this something to do with nursing?  Or is there something I can give her.  I was feeding her wet canned food and took it away when I noticed the problem.  So right now she is eating just dry food.  Thanks for you help.

She may have intestinal parasites so best thing is to have a stool sample checked.  And I would recommend deworming her and the kittens.

Otherwise, you can feed a bland diet of boiled chicken and rice WITH plain yogurt....or try meat baby food.  There are prescription diets available for diarrhea as well such as EN or i/d.
