I have 2 questions, (1) Lucy has a foul odor coming from her ears what can I do about it, (2) I also have a cat and Lucy has been getting in it's litter box and eating the litter and what it contains if you know what I mean, can this be harmful to her.

Ok, bassets have problematic ears. You need to take her to the vet for an exam and ear swab to make sure its not an infection and get it treated accordingly.

eating cat poop is not harmful, but what you can do is put a product called FORBID ( your vet will carry this) and put it in her food and the cats food. this will make eating stools quite nasty.
