pitt bulls

My friend has two pitt bulls. They are mother and son. The mother is on her menstrual and the son got inside her and wouldnt some out. They got them apart and are now afraid that the mother might be pregnant. Cold this be possible? If so what would happen to her puppies?

Yes it is entirely possible and most likely also.  I don't understand the question about the puppies. Why doesn't he just get her spayed then he won't have to worry about it?

There are plenty of dogs out there now- he shouldn't be breeding this dog unless she has been shown and is of the top of the line.
Have him call the vet on Monday and make an appointment to get her spayed next week.
