Blood in puppy poop

I have a pupp that is having a lot of Diarrhea and today it seemed like he had a lottle blood in it with like a mucus like form to it. Can you please let me know what it could be and what i should do.

Not knowing whether or not this puppy is vaccinated against parvo, how old it is or what it is eating, I would say that you really should call your vet and ask them.

Parvo is still very prevalent out there and this could be  the first sign of it. Mucous in the stool is usually a sign of a digestive problem as in the dog is not absorbing the food properly- if it continues that is.

But the first guess is usually parvo which is why it is important to get this dog into the vet's right away.
