puppy sickness

my dog is tired won't stand for long periods of time. Shakes when he is standing and wont eat or drink.

Apologies for the delayed response.  There are many possible causes for weakness and lethargy, in puppies especially viruses are common.  Though there are no antibiotics that would rid them of a virus I would suggest having him seen by your veterinarian if he has not improved.  Because of their small size puppies and kittens that stop eating/drinking can become very dehydrated and often need supportive care to give them time to fight off an infection or virus.

Your veterinarian would be able to give him a full physical and see if a different sort of problem is occurring.  I wish the best of luck to you and your canine companion.
