Question
This morning at around 10am, a pigeon flew into the window when my dogs where outside and they started attacking it. Luckily we managed to get the dogs inside and the pigeon flapped and hid behind some plants. I left if thinking it was stunnedbut at 2pm it was still there, so i've put it in my rabbit run to protect it from cats. There are no obvious injuries; i think the dogs just pulled out some feathers, and the bird can move around and flap, it is just not flying away. Do you think it is still stunned and that i should leave it in the rabbit run until it gets better, as there are no wildlife hospitals near me? Thanks

Answer
You can do that but if it has a broken wing it can't fly. You can take it to a regular vet near you and leave it. Tell them what happened and you don't know if it can fly.

Otherwise don't leave it in the cage too long without food or water. Your best bet might be to take it somewhere and let it go. In other words, place it in some bushes until it can fly.

There isn't much else you can do.
