could my dog get parasites?

My dachshund caught and killed a mouse or so it looked like one, it did not have eyes or ears! Should I be worried about parasites or anything? I'm worried!

Hi Darcey,
   As long as he didn't "eat" any part of the mouse I wouldn't worry about it that much. If he ate any of the  mouse he caught/killed then he could pick up intestinal worms. I would take him to the vet. for a check up and for the vet to give his a dewormer medication. Take care and good luck.
