traveling to argetina from us with dog

Hello,
My husband and I will be visting Argentina for two months and would like to take our dog with us. Will Argentina allow a dog from the USA to enter easily? We plan on staying with family while we are there and would really love to bring our pom with us. Any help is greatly appreciated!

You should only need the: APHIS 7001 international health cert issued within 10 days of travel
and endorsed by usda.  Also, rabies vac at least 30 days old and less than one yr.  Be sure the
rabies cert is signed in ink by your vet
For return to usa, a new health cert issued in Argentina within 10 days of return travel.  Your
rabies cert should be fine.
Do take the dog with you as excess baggage, NOT, cargo
Check with your airline in advance as to just what they will require.
Do NOT sedate.  NO food for at least 8 hrs before travel, and NO food during travel.  Water is
ok of course.
