take cat from Singapore to Germany

Question
Hi Chris,
I am a German citizen currently living in Singapore. About a month ago a friend gave me a Siamese kitten (around 5 months old). Since I will have to go back to Germany this spring/summer, I want to take the cat with me. As far as I could figure it out that's what I need:
- an export certificate from the AVA in Singapore
- a health certificate from a government vet (stating what, the microchip number and the rabies vaccine?)
- the vaccination details
- microchip
- rabies vaccine older than 30 days

Here's my questions: I believe no antibody titer is needed since Singapore is treated same as EU countries because of the rabies status? Am I right there?

As far as I understood they make a difference there for animals found somewhere. Must I have breeder certificates or something to proof that I purchased the cat somewhere?

She's already got the microchip and the first cat flu dose, the rabies shot is scheduled in 2 weeks.

Is there anything else I need to consider? Is it necessary to get an agency to do the paperwork or can I do everything myself?

Many thanks for your help,
regards,
Nina

Answer
Hi Nina,

Thanks for your question. The place to go for your answer would be the German Embassy in Singapore.  They will be able to give you the exact requirements to enter into Germany from Singapore.

I'm afraid I'm at a slight disadvantage since I don't read or write or speak German.  There may be some information on their website

I hope this helps at least point you in the correct direction.
