african dwarf frog disease

Question
my african dwarf frog has a cotton looking fungus on his back. do you know how this happened and what i can do to fix it?

Answer
It may just be a scrape.  Frogs do not respond well to traditional treatments.  I would increase his food and bribe him with brine shrimp and tubiflex worms as well as his regular food.  You can add a very tiny amount of aquarium salt to the tank one tbls per 20 gallons.  I will see if I can research a medication that will work for him... dave
