Question
I have a 20Gal. Tank with 3 Gold fish (Aprox.3" long) and 2 Small gold fish (aprox.2" long) I feed them once a day with pellets that sink to the bottom. I only feed them what they can eat in aprox. 2 minutes. My problem is: What ever pellets that go uneaten cloud the tank. Is there good gold fish food that you would recommend, that would not cloud up the tank with uneated food. Thanks Fred New Jersey USA.

Answer
Fred,

First thing, your tank is way too small for that amount of goldfish. To house the 5 goldfish you will need a tank minimum of 80 gallons. Goldfish are huge waste producers and need a lot of swimming and breathing room. As for the food, any that is left uneaten will cloud the  tank. IF this is happening, you are over feeding them. Just cut down on the food and make sure you are cleaning the gravel once a week and doing weekly water changes of 25%.
