Betta housing

Question
I have had about 3 bettas in the past 4-5 years.  I have one now, about 6 months i'd say, by homself , with a live plant, and suddenly stopped making the bubble nests.  I was wondering if he is getting depressed, and reading up online and maybe thionking of buying a 5 gal. tank, and dividing him and another male in there.  Is this a good idea?  If so, what do I need to do?  If not, what would be the ideal size for him and what if I wanted a second betta?  A whole different tank or what?  My male right now is living in about a 3/4 gallon setup now.

Answer
hi,

long as your fish are not acting strange or sick, they are fine. In that case, i would prefer getting a bigger tank so your betta have enough space to swim around. 5 or 10 gallon would be fine. Also try getting 1 or 2 more bettas, so they wont feel lonely.
hoped i helped
