Feeding Cichlids

Question
We have a 100 gallon tank with one small Oscar, and one large Oscar. We change the water once every two to three months. There are also two algae eaters in the tank. I need to know how much to feed them, and what would be the best food to use?

Answer
You can't feed them anything with that water change scedule.

You should be changing 50% of the water once a week, or even 30% twice. Once you fix that you can worry about feeding.

You should use a mix of Hikari CIchlid bio-gold, blood worms, beef heart, peas, lettuce and boiled pieces of carrot.
