Question
I own a betta fish and I fed it this morning and he didn't eat his food, and I just realized that he didn't even eat yesterdays food.He seems to be ok but I'm a little worried that he doesn't eat, You think if a buy another type of food would he eat?

Answer
Hi Corina,
Swithching his food is unlikely to help, in fact, it might hurt.

Is there uneaten food in his tank? Are you doing regular partial water changes of his water?  You should change about 20% of his water once a week, every week.

Lack of food for a couple of days isn't really a problem -- he won't starve to death in a couple of days --  the bigger problem is his lack of desire to eat.

What is the temperature of the tank?  It should be about 80oF.
