lionhead disease?

I have a fish that looked like comet when I got it about 3 years ago. Soon after it's head started growing. It looks like a lionhead variety but for the past month or so it's body (abdomen?) started growing. The body is know double the head size and he just lays on the bottom of the tank on his side. I treated him for parasites and there is now change. ANy ideas? He looks like he is ready to explode and I do not over feed him. Thanks

It could be bloat. Feed him a bolied pea without the shell. It "cleans out the plumbing" feed him one pea every 3 days for 9 days. Thats it. only the pea, no flake or pellets. Fish can go up to one month without food, so he will be fine.
