ANSWER: Hello Junie,
You must feed the fry baby brine shrimp 4 times a day.  You are doing water changes everyday, and this is very good.  It could be your water chemistry.  Make sure there is no nitrates or ammonia in your water.  How big is your tank?  This could also be a factor.  How high is your PH?  This too could be a factor.  Your PH should be around 6.5 - 7.0  Do you keep the parents with the fry?  When you remove the parents, you lose more fry.  Sometimes Angels make good parents, sometimes they don't, but if they are, you should leave them with the fry.
Hope this helps

ANSWER: Hello,
Raising Angels is not very easy.  I breed them, and some have good parents, some bad parents, and some only one parent looks after the fry.  The bad parents, I remove, and raise the fry myself.  I think you have good parents because they did not eat their eggs.  I would leave the parents with the fry.  When parents are left with the fry, you save more fry.  The parents know what is good for them.  I have a couple who stay with their babies until I put the babies on the market.  I always have more fry when the parents, or if one of the parents stay with the fry.  When you see the parents picking up the fry with their mouth, they are not eating them, they are changing their place.  When Angel fish eat their eggs, that is when they are not good parents.....but one of the two could be a good parent.  You have to try different things to find out....but seeing as your couple did not eat the eggs, I think they should stay with the fry...this would be a big help to you.  Removing good parents is not good for the parents.  It is as if I would take away your children!  You would be sad, it is the same thing with fish that are good parents.
For now, I would add one drop of blue methylene per gallon ( one drop to 4 litres) of water.  This will help them for fungus.  Do this always when the parents are not with them.  Fungus happens quickly with fry.
I keep mine in 50 gallon tanks.  The fry should be in 50 gallons tanks or bigger, and if possible remain with the parents.
When feeding them you must give them lots of baby brine shrimp for all the babies to have some.  If you do not give them enough food, the stronger ones will eat, and the weaker ones will die.  Feed them lots, it is the opposite of grown fish.  You must feed them lots of baby brine shrimp four times a day, and do your water changes.   This is probably your problem, not enough food for the fry, and maybe some fry have fungus.
Hope this helps

Answer
Hello,
You must feed the fry enough so that they all can eat.  I feed them 4 times a day, and they eat, and their little tummys are pink because you can see that they have eaten the baby brine shrimp.  You must do water changes everyday of 30-50 % to make sure your water is clean, and free of ammonia.  You must always check your water to make sure you have no ammonia in your water even when they are eggs.   Check you water everyday.  You can buy this small test kit at the Pet shop, and it will tell you if you have ammonia in your water.  Ammonia in the water will kill fish, they will get sick, fungus, and die.  If you keep your water free of ammonia, for the fry, and eggs, you should have no problem.  This is also true for adult fish.  Never never have ammonia in your water.
