goldfish...duh!

hi.

i have a small calico moor and a slightly larger  gold fantaill and i was curious if there is anything  they prefer to eat, as say a "treat" or something, other than the flakes that i feed them.

p.s. i also have a beta and algea eater, just in case that helps at all...

Hi David,

That sounds like an interesting fish (calico moor).  Most goldfish are happy with the average flake food (like the homebrand stuff at wallmart).  But I give my goldfish (6 orandas) flakes and sometimes bloodworms and brine shrimp as a treat.  It is good to have lots of plantlife in your tank aswell because they like to nibble on it occasionaly.
