My Beta Fish!

My Beta fish has been stuck at the top of the water for almost a full day now. He is constantly trying to swim to the bottom of the bowl but can't seem to go anywhere. Last night he was turing on his side and it looked like he was struggling to breathe. He ate this morning. But is still stuck at the top of the water! I need help, I don't know what to do, and i don't wonna just wait to see what happens to him!

Ok it sounds like a swim-bladder infection it maybe can be fixed by a medication at your local petstore. What i would do is a water change and from then on do weekley nwater changes. Feed him twice a day and make sure he eats all of the food within a few minutes after that scoop the rest of the food out.
