snail

about 3 weeks ago i found a stone moving around then i noticed it was a tiny snail. i put it in a cricket container with distilled water. later i found that my fish had ick. all of them died except my betta. i put him in a container and i cleaned out the tank. while i was doing that, i found another one. do you have any idea what kind of snail it is?

Hi Meg,
  There are many kinds of snails but they don't transmit ick.  Ick is a fish parasite.  Parasites are very specific as to which organisms they infect.
