Goldfish Trauma

I was cleaning my goldfish tank, the fish jumped out of the net & slammed against the bucket. Now it is breathing heavily & stays close to the bottom of the tank and lists slightly. There are no obvious signs of traums, but I suspect internal injury.  Any ideas?

He should be fine.

Fish jump all the time, you just don't often see it. Sometimes they'll smack their heads on the hood. I've had fish survive 5 or 6 feet drops no problem.

If he will not get up in a day or two, then you should be concerned, but likely there is no damage.
