Question
QUESTION: hello, I need help really bad! I have a nother case of ich in my 10 gallon tank. I have a large black moor goldfish in it and a albino clawed frog. a week before I got the black moor, I had two other fish that got ich and they both died. so, I scrubbed down the tank and cleaned the gravel and everything was fine until a week later I was looking at my fish and it developed the little white spots called ich. I tried using quick cure and I changed 25 percent of the water. I also raised the temp to 78. I can't raise it anymore unless I get a heater. will the quick cure work? is there anything else I can do? please! I want my fish to live! thank you very very much!

ANSWER: Many petstores seel white spot treatment, thats the other name for ich. Buy a few and use the instructions on it to treat your fish, fish can also get ich fom stress and although your black moore may be smll now he may grow to big for the tank, but the stress now could be, is he newly bought???
A move would cause stress

QUESTION: my black moor is a large 4 inch goldfish and I have had it a week and it started getting ich on the 7th day. it shares a tank with a small ablino clawed frog. should I buy a heater to help speed up the process of ich? I have been doing water changes when using quick cure ich. I change 25 percent of the water and add warm water and then add 10 drops of the quick cure. the spots aren't  that bad but the fish keeps trying to ich itself. what else can I  do? can I add regular table salt to the water? I heard that it helps. thank you very much!

Answer
No a heater isn't needed in this case...
PLEASE DO NOT ADD WARM WATER!!! you take out all the oxygen in the water when you do that and your fish will die, i know you can use warmer water to treat it, but i never use warmer water i just add white spot treatments.
DO NOT use table salt as this may also kill him, aquarium salt will help NOT table salt...

Im really sorry about all the yelling and capitals but i want you to be able to to heal your fish with out killing it, dont panich too much, go to the petstore like i said and buy a few treatments
