QuestionI own a beta fish that has not eaten in 3 months and it is continuing not to eat. I normally feed it beta fish food and even tried feeding it dried worms before but it will not eat. How long will it survive? What should I do?
AnswerHi Karen,
That is a long time. How long a fish can go without food depends on water temperature to a great deal. I would keep trying to feed it a little betta food. You might also try a few live brine shrimp -- most fish find the motion of live brine shrimp pretty irresistable.
