tiger oscar with one big eye

G day mate i have a 4 foot tank with 2 oscars about 3to 4 inches long with a few other smaller fish and in the last day or two my tiger oscars eye has bulged he still acts fine and is eating as normal have you ever heard or seen his before. ur help would be much appreciated thanks

Hi Garry,
 Yes, it is called pop-eye and it isn't good news unfortunately.  It can be caused by injury, in which case, it may go back to normal after awhile, OR, it may be the result of an internal infection which is very bad news and extremely difficult to treat.  There are medicines which claim to treat pop-eye but I have had little success with them.
