Betta swimbladder/constipation?

23 14:49:15

Question
Samantha,
Thanks so much for your prompt reply. I am asking for your attention once again, because there is apparently a problem besides its inability to swim. It doesn't eat anymore even when given food, and even when tries, just misses it. I am afraid this shouldn't be left untreated.
Are there any signs that may tell me if there is any infection, or anything else?
Thanks for your time!
Victor

Hi Samantha,
All sympthoms as described at many websites.  Started, probably, more than two months ago. Could not swim properly, defecated seldom (but defecated).
Latest developments: Food intake: only two or three pellets over last two weeks (well, now it has lost appetite anyway). A very little of bowel movement once within the same two weeks (well, it doesn't eat either). Tried peas almost daily, but it wouldn't eat, and if ate a bit, regurgitated, and if retained something, with no effect. Tried Epsom salt yesterday and a day before, also with no effect. Now I am even in doubt if it is a constipation problem at all.
What else could I try?  Thanks a lot!
Victor

Hi Victor,
I agree completley. I do not think this is constipation I beleave it is the swim blatter. Your fish could heal if it is left in a tank on its own, water is kept clean, and temperature between 70 and 80 degrees but more near 80F. I would also try to feed flake food instead because it is easeier for them to eat. If it is contsipation (which it could be but probably not) then keep giving it pees but squeeze the juice in the water then cut the pee into tiny ity bity peices then give it to your beta. Your beta can heel from the swim blatter problem, but probably not. It still can live a long healthy life though.

Hi Victor,
I beleave I know this problem but I dont kno any cure for it. This is what happend to 2 of my molly fish that I recently had and they both died over night on different nights. I do think it is a desease but it ounds as if your bowl is shining clean. I do not think there is a cure for it but you can ask one of the other experts f needed.
sad to not be able to awnser your question good,
