irridescent shark (problem w/eye)

Question
Howdy:
I have had an irridescent shark shark for about 6 years.  In fact most of my fish are older then 3 years.
Anyway, the irridescent shark has what looks like a large bubble on one of his eyes.  Maybe he just bumped into something.  What do you think?  What can I do?
thanks!

Answer
Hi Steven;

It's possible he did hurt himself. Iridescents are pretty hyper. Just watch it and keep his water clean so he has a better chance of recovery without infection. Melafix and aquarium salt are good to use too in order to ward off infection and aid in soothing damaged tissues.

So...clean water, melafix and salt. Good healthy combo.

I hope he feels better soon...
