Algae in tank

I do a regular part water change on my tank every week and every couple of weeks clean the tank well, but as soon as I have cleaned the tank a couple of days later everyhthing starts to turn brown and green because of algae. Should it be building up this quick and what can  I do to stop it building up so quickly, would plants help

Ok well you need to start doing weekly water changes of about 25%. Also the light should not be on more than 8-10 hours a day or else you will get algae in your tank. No plants will not help with the algae problem, but algaefix is a product that kills algae so ue that. Please tell me if the algae comes back again after you put the algae product in their.
