worry about my gold fish

i have bought resently a gold fish and i notice that it has like a little string hanging from its bottom i want to know if i could pull it of or should i wait until it falls off.

Hi Maria,

It's probably a worm.  Please add 2 teaspoons per gallon of sea salt to the tank.  Dissolve it.  When the worm falls out and dies, change the tank thoroughly.  Wash gravel, change water, wash decorations and set it back up.

The goldfish will possibly perish if this isn't treated.  If you have no luck with the salt, please get Prazi Pro.
