My 5 bettas water gets so dirty in 1 day

what is causing it to get so dirty so quick? I end up cleanin the tanks everyday almost

Hello Minden-

What size of tank are they each in?
Smaller tanks need water changes fairly frequently, whereas larger tanks may go through a cloudy phase before the natural bacteria settle out. My 20 gallon tank was cloudy for about 4 days, but now is almost perfectly clear. I just added clean water every two days as the old water evaporated off, and the bacteria cleared themselves up.
