methlene blue and flowerhorn eggs

Question
hi, could you tell me what approx. the dose of methlene blue would be for a 55 gallon tank to help save my flowerhorn eggs from water mold taking them over and when i should do the methlene blue dosing.

Answer
Hi Terry,
Methylene blue will only help slow the spread of the Saprolegnia water mold, however, it won't help at all if the eggs were not fertilized properly, which is the usual reason why fish eggs don't survive.
Add a few drops to the tank.
