VERY large droppings

My parakeet recently laid eggs and ever since then, her droppings have be frighteningly large. About the size of a quarter. They used to be normal sized. Is this normal, or could it be a health problem. HELP!!!!

Hello Melissa! For females to lay large droppings is completely normal! When the females lay eggs, it messes up their system a little which causes their droppings to be big and messy. Also when she is nesting, take in mind the female never goes to the bathroom in the nest and rarely leaves her eggs. So instead of going every 10 min. like normal, she lets it all out at once that way she doesn't have to leave the nest as often. So theres nothing to worry about, its very normal ^^
