First time lovebird

I have been reading about the caring for lovebirds on online. I work during the day so when i'm home i will be able to handle the bird. Should i have everyone in the home handle the bird so it will be used to the smell or touch of other family members? Are lovebirds the type to favor only one person?

Hello, You need lots of time for a single bird I'll let you know now I'm talking hours each day one on one contact if you cant offer this everyday for 15-20 years don't get a single lovebird it will be unhappy. You can get two handfed just weaned baby lovebirds and if you handle them daily they will be friendly and loving I have six that are hanfed and handable that will sit on my should/flip them over/clip tehre wings without any fuss because I handle them daily. I orginaly had one male peachfaced lovebird(All my lovebirds are peach faced but are mutation colors..please note there are differetn breeds of lovebirds as well as different colors in the breeds the supposibly best pets are the Peach faced lovebirds) He loves to play on my shoulder/head and be with me when I'm doing everything but he also loves my father for some reason ever thou he only interacts with him once in a while I'd say they are Not one person birds but will favor the person that cares for them more...handles/palys and cuddles them more in my aption.
