Question
Hello,
I got a pair of lovebirds about 4-6 months ago. And my step-father build a huge beautiful cage(I fit in there kneeling, i'm 5'3)and he also built a home in the same shape of the cage and is approx. 16" tall and divided in 2 for them to go into at night and when it gets cold. Anyways, on a cold night we bought some hay and placed it in each home and about two to three days later we noticed that one of the birds(assuming that it is the female) was inside and the other would stand at the entrance of the home if someone got near. My step-father made it so that the back part of the home was in plexi-glass so that we could view inside. Well afterwards, we looked inside and saw that the bird was sitting on the hay and that there were two eggs. She is breathing a bit fast and only comes out once to eat and then goes back in. She has pushed the hay up against the plexi-glass making it hard to view the eggs now! Since then it has been about 2 weeks and she is still in there and Well my question to you is,  are the eggs alive? and about how much longer before they are born?
