Does my bird like me

Question
I have a beautiful 4 month old male keet. I've had him for  a few weeks. I talk to him daily and put my hand in his cage, very slowly, to train him. However, he refuses to sit in my finger. I'll put it right next to him, but he'll just stare at it. Does he not like me? Will I ever be able to train him or do I have to try something else?

Hi, Alicia.  Thanks for posting.

I need more information from you before I can answer your questions.  Was this keet handfed as a baby?  Is s/he tame at all?  

S/he may not know what to do when you put your finger up to him.  Baby birds have to be taught these things!  I'm sure s/he'll like you once s/he gets to know you...you really haven't had this bird long enough yet.
