Answer
Hey Sergio

The best starter snakes are garter snakes, ribbon snakes, or corn snakes. Garter and ribbon are going to need the least amount of space and will eat a variety of different small insects and fish. I find it fun to watch them catch the fish. Cornsnakes are more personable, but get bigger and require more space. They also eat rodents, either live or frozen/defrosted (Frozen is my preference as it is safer for the snake).

Pythons are not dangerous, as long as they are raised and handled properly. Some, like the Blood Python, don't even get as long as a cornsnake when full grown, but get a much bigger girth. I don't recommend pythons or boa constrictors
for beginners though, as they can be picky eaters and get larger. :)
