Answer
Hello Zoe,

We do need to review your tank setup more.
Are you using a UVB light & if so, what type & brand?  A fluorescent tube bulb or a compact/coil light?  How old is the bulb?
What type of basking light do you use, a bright white light or a colored bulb?
What are you using to measure the temperatures in the tank, a stick on type of thermometer, a digital probe or a temp gun?
If he is too cool most of the times, he will be more lethargic & will not have much of an appetite, if at all because he cannot digest at those temperatures very well.
At the temperatures of 70 for the tank, tha tis not warm enough for digestion.
The recommended basking temperatures are 95-110 and the cooler end needs to be around 78-82 roughly.  What sized tank is he in?
Do you supplement with calcium several times per week?
Did you have any pictures of him?
