Question
I just purchased 2 bearded dragons (grown) I am wanting to breed them. The lady told me that the female has laid eggs once but she was unsure how to incubate them and lost them. My ? is how long do females carry eggs...how can I tell if she is pregnant for sure?

Answer
Dear Tabitha,
thank you for your question
Bearded dragons are normally gravid for three to four weeks, but it can  be longer, up to seven weeks. You can tell that the female is gravid when she starts to dig a lot and when she start to look rounder, but that sometimes doesn't happen.
Offer a big box with moist substrate at all times so that she can lay her eggs and doesn't become eggbound.
I hope I was of some help to you
