are the reptisun fluorecent tubes suppost to produce uvb and uva because im used to having a basking bulb that produces uva and heat and then having a long bar type uvb producing bulb.  if i have a full spectrum long tube bulb can i just use a regular light bulb for heating? as long as it meats the temp requirements of course. i ask because im pretty sure im using a repti sun bulb but i thought it only produced uvb and then i read a question sent in by someone else and the expert said that reptisun produced both

 Reptisuns produce both UVB and UVA.  Don't be fooled by the term full spectrum, just make sure what tube you have in your fixture.  Since the tubes don't produce heat, Heat bulbs producing a bright light during the day will be needed and household bulbs are fine for that.  Just make sure you measure your heat with a good digital thermometer.
