Answer
Michelle, a bobbing dragon is a dragon now happily full of himself.  He is declaring that this is HIS turf and he is master of his habitat.  Also letting any females hiding in the house know that he is a male and available!  You can handle him, but be prepared that he will want to roam and try to find these females, (which he's absolutely positive you are hiding, LOL).  He will bob at furniture, too.  After you've had him two weeks, have him checked by the vet for any gut parasites he may have developed from where he was and from relocation stress.
