how do u take care of a skinks eggs? cause the mom got loose and we cant find her

Hi Emilee, The eggs need to be kept in slightly damp soil, about half buried. It is important that the eggs are not rotated. You can move them as needed but keep them in the same upright position. The temperature should be in the low 80's F and they will take approximately six weeks to hatch but it could happen a bit sooner or a bit later depending on the temperature they were at. The mother would normally protect the eggs from predators and keep the surrounding soil moist if it starts to dry out.
