Answer
Hi Carlos, I don't think you have anything to worry about although I'd like to go over your temperatures. The clue in in your first sentence. You just got him yesterday. Beardeds are very aware of their surroundings and often go through relocation stress when moved into a new environment. It can take about a week before they are eating normally. Baby beardeds also are primarily insectivorous. They may take some salad if it is offer before any bugs but they don't take much when they are young. The salad consumption will increase as he matures. As long as he appears active, bright-eyed and alert then he just needs a few days to settle in. I would recommend not handling him much until he starts feeding well, there will be plenty of time for handling after that.
Now, the temperature of 87F that you mentioned, I hope that is part of the general ambient temperature and not the basking or "hot spot" temperature. The temperature right under his basking lamp should be around 100F - 105F. Reptile appetites are very temperature dependent and without this temp. he won't eat very well and he won't digest very well. The middle of the tank can be in the high 80's and the cool end down into the 70's. That is the temperture gradient he should have to regulate his own body temp. All heating can go off at night assuming the room temperature stays above 65F.

I think this is one of the best sites for dragon care info
